1.Mafia Definitive Edition

Many latest open world games have either present timeline or future timeline but Mafia is all set in the timeline of 1930's with classic crime missions.The game is the remake of first mafia game which was released on 2002 and now the game is remastered with realistic graphics and gameplay.

Watch Dogs franchise is similar to GTA franchise,Watch Dogs is also an open world action adventure game.But the features of this game are lot different than GTA.The protagonist of the game is a hacker and with his hacking skills the protagonist can control street lights,explosives and even cars and also infiltrate a secured facility.Every game of this series comes with futuristic development in game enviroment.The latest game of Watch Dogs franchise came a few days ago called Watch Dogs Legion.The latest game of franchise is specially developed for next gen consoles which makes their graphics and gameplay better.

4.Total OverDose

On 16th September 2005 one of the best open world action adventure and shooting game was released.

Over the years Total Overdose has become somewhat of a cult classic and one of the deeply beloved games.Total Overdose was created by Deadline Games.The company also made a predecessor of the game called CHILLI CON CARNAGE which was released on 16th February only for PSP.The company were also working on the sequel of the game which was Total Overdose 2: Tequila Gunrise which was initially cancelled after Eidos Interactive pulled out of it.Unfortunately the company was shutdown due to bankruptcy and hence the sequel of the game was cancelled.The protagonist of the game Ramiro Cruz is set on the path of vengeance to avenge his father who was killed by a Drug  Lord.The protagonist destroys his father's murderers one by one and he avenge his father.The game is full of fun and the dialogues of the game are hilarious. However the graphics of the game are bit outdated but that would not change the experience while playing the game.

5.Far Cry 3

Far Cry 3 was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and the game was published by Ubisoft.Far Cry is very different from GTA 5.However what makes the game different that is its First Person view.However Far Cry is an open world game.The Location of the game is in Rook Islands where a group of friends were caught by pirates and they were kept hostages by their psychotic leader Vaas Montenegro who works under a human trafficker Hoyt Walker.Our protagonist Jason Brody who is a hostage himself is determined to save his friends and his brother from getting sold to slavery for the rest of their lives and putting end to this human trafficking.Throught the game we can see a massive character development in our protagonist who once did not know what to do with his life.The graphics and the gameplay of Far Cry 3 are great along with the storyline.The protagonist can explore whole island when not on a mission.The game also allows us to be a part of wildlife.The character can hunt animals in order to craft things which are necessary for survival.The character faces one hell of a ride to save his friends and his brother.
